This year Susan Botek, Founder/President celebrates her 15th year as a young Breast Cancer Survivor. After finding a lump in her breast at age 33, she visited her physician and then fell through the cracks:

• No family history
• Being assured it was NOTHING
• After being turned away two times

Six months later she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer! When no one could answer the question if she would live or not, she vowed she would do something to help - when she did survive. She attributes her survival to a number of things. First and most important is knowing her own body and trusting her instincts. Second is swift medical treatment. Third, is a positive attitude and a healthy lifestyle. That includes plenty of filtered water, fresh fruits, vegetables and exercise.

As a lifelong resident, Susan is very proud to request Toledo to be the jumping off point - of an organization she believes can become a nation-wide event.
